Ability to vote up forum replies
Been thinking through this for a while, and some help forums have the ability for users to vote a reply or answer to their questions as helpful, etc.
I'd love to see some sort of filter ability, or just the ability for community members to vote for specific comments or replies, within a thread, to a higher position/near the top of the thread or as VERY HELPFUL - maybe even on a scale of votes.
When looking back on several threads, especially software specific or organizing tips...etc...these threads are very long. Though I know it might mess with the "Reply to #" and the "First Unread" button features, it could be very helpful. I'm thinking especially to newbies, and those of us going back a year or 2 rereading and familiarize ourselves to the topic again.
Perhaps the opportunity to temporarily set a filter for that specific thread to be able to be "viewed by user vote ranking"...even with a highlighted background on replies that we've not read/seen yet.

I honestly don´t like this kind of forum displaying, so I think it would be great that, if you really create this feature, it have a way of click on a link to show either the "most voted first" or the cronological view like it´s today.
