More social options like "following/friending" other members, wall posting, etc.
I would like the ability to "follow" other members as they post new layouts (not only if they have a personal blog). I would also like a comment feed on member profiles to make general comments about a member's work.

This is a great idea. I have several members here who I feel like are the epitome of my style and inspire me. I would love to have a way to follow them and see their recent works quickly.

I would love the ability to actually have an "Add Friend" button on our profiles here,
instead of just a contact button. Don't ask me why, I just think it would be nice. -

Love this idea, also, I would love to see the Activity Stream working, I know it is a huge project, but I think it would make this website even more awesome!
