I was so excited the first time was able to download a psd file and mess with the layers, I work from ipad not desktop so aside from png psd is the only thing close to a designer resource I can open. Would love the option on some of these asl files to come in psd...3 votes
We have thousands of items with PSD download options. You can filter by these items on our graphics page by scrolling to the “file format” filter. Please see this screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/EhhsMFh.png
Curious if any of the artists would be willing to take a custom suggestion and turn it into a scrapbook downloadable format for use.
Specific theme/element/design requests can now be made via our Patron Design Requests forum: https://www.pixelscrapper.com/forums/digital-scrapbooking/patron-design-requests
While only Patrons can submit new requests, everyone in the community can comment on requests and vote on them by “Hearting” the requests they like.
I use a free online webapp called Pixlr. It's great for those who might not have the memory to store software on their computers. I also use another program called Craft Artist. Both programs are Windows friendly and accept forms or JPEG and PNG. Hope this helps!3 votes
Serif CraftArist, and Pixlr are both available as options now.
It would be wonderful if we could post requests for tutorials related to designing. I would love to be able to design beautiful papers but I am not proficient at using Photoshop. I wish we could post requests and if designers could pick a request once a week or month and help us out.2 votes
We actually have a thread dedicated to this topic in the Tutorial Forum: https://www.pixelscrapper.com/forums/digital-scrapbooking/tutorials/requests-for-behind-the-scenes-tutorials
You can request whatever item/technique you are interested in, and then if possible I will make a tutorial, or give you some tips on how to make it.
Thanks for your thoughts,
You can filter by file type. See this post for more details: https://www.pixelscrapper.com/forums/site-meta/site-updates-and-announcements/new-feature-multiple-file-types
Thanks for your feedback!
To have a link to the kits that I "hearted", if I can't download immediately, I'd like to go back at a later stage2 votes
You can browse items that you have “hearted” by going to your profile page (click your profile picture in the upper-right hand corner of the site), and cliking on the “hearts” tab on the left hand side (see this screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/chut4UB.png).
Gallery organized by topic- vacations, children, heritage, etc.2 votes
You can now search the gallery at http://pixelscrapper.com/browse/layouts
A novel idea: allow members to contribute some elements on png format for free, maybe labels, buttons, etc. so long as they are originally theirs.1 vote
Members can now contribute designs to Pixel Scrapper via the Pixel Scrapper Commons: pixelscrapper.com/browse/commons
