More ways to earn download points, such as commenting on layouts and new designs, participating in the blog train, replying to comments in the forums.

I know before I subscribed you are limited to only 5 a day...when you are doing a page you ALL know it takes more than 5 things to finish it!! Some way of getting more credits or even a way to get a kit per week/month would be wonderful for people who can't afford to pay for it!!!

Kelsey, you can download soooo much for free from this place.
If you are serious and you need more than the regular free download, why don't you upload a few of your designs and say you are available for a DT position?
I personally don't see a rewards system on top of everything that's in place. -

Dear Shaheen,
There are ways to boost your DC, the main rule being: You have to contribute.
You can earn community points by showing sincere interest in other people's designs and for posting layouts or pictures of hybrids to the gallery. And for participating in the forums in a meaningful way. Eventually, your community points will result in a higher DC.

an alternative to a paid account like maybe rewards or something to that effect for certain things you accomplish example is posting a layout get rewarded

As a fairly new member, I still don't know how I can increase my daily download credits. It would be nice if there was more information available on this. Perhaps a pinned topic in the forums.

Can I just add here - if you can afford to donate to the site (in 5, 10 or 20 US dollar amounts), you will receive more download credits, and you'll also help to support this wonderful site.

Hi there,
I understand your quest for downloading more for free. However keep in mind that most of the designers of Pixel Scrapper are earning their income from selling those items for very low prices from the general digital scrapbooking kits you can find out there on the web. As Marisa's manifesto clearly indicates that she wants everyone to be able to gain access to designs while supporting and appreciating the hard works of designers, we would love to see more members appreciating designers' generosity to distribute their work for free which no any other store is doing.
