Mental Health
It would be neat if we had a kit that dealt with Mental Health (i.e. Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, Autism, etc) the list is quite extensive, but these conditions even have national holidays now...could we get a kit for them? I'm particularly interested in Bipolar as I have it. I'd create one, but I'm not a designer.

I am considering maybe designing something dealing with Mental Health as I'm maybe going to start the process for being diagnosed. I'm not sure if my designing skills are up to such a task, but it would be interesting to give it a try. Another thing that causes me to hesitate is the cultural difference as I would be designing from a French perpspective, which might be very different if I were from another country... anyways, I'm toying with the idea (because I would need such a kit to document my own journey to getting a diagnostic).

Also another thing is to make sure one is not supporting ideas from charities that are at odds with people who have said condition. i.e. one of the biggest autism charities is actually one of the worst, and we need more accommodation and acceptance than surface level awareness* campaigns involving the sale of gimmicky things like blue lightbulbs. *(more like Autism Bewareness campaigns as I call it). There is a lot more to be said about this if anyone wants to know more about it they can ask.

If this becomes a thing, I would at least ask whoever is designing this to make sure you don't do weird infantilizing things regarding autism. The puzzle piece is actually a very loathed symbol amongst adult autistic people. The puzzle piece's origin is that it was picked as representation by doom and gloom parents of the 1960's and originally featured an angry and or crying young boy in the center (and you know dreadfully autism was thought of back then). I just want whoever to do it to do it from a stance of dignity instead of one of pity, martyrdom, or othering. It would be interesting though as I am adhd and autistic and my husband has bipolar and adhd.
