1. Integrate more of a social media experience onto PixelScrapper

   I think PixelScrapper is a beautiful community, maybe we could make it even more personalized?

   Here ar ea few ideas on the top of my head:
   ** Be able to "friend" people
   ** Choose what is public and what is private (everybody, only friends, no one) on your profile

   ** Add these to the profile (again, you could choose to make this public, private or semi-private) :
   - Favorite projects, kits, bundles, galleries, etc. (or see what a person "hearts")
   - do a "CURRENTLY" every month :
   Currently reading, watching, listening to, celebrating, feeling, scrapbooking (OF COURSE!)

   EXAMPLE :
   Currently reading : Haruki Murakami
   Currently watching : Twin Peaks
   Currently listening to : Pink Floyd
   Currently planning : what we will eat next week
   Currently celebrating : my first month not smoking
   Currently thinking : about 1000 things at once!
   Currently feeling : super energetic
   Currently scrapbooking : my daughter's children's birthday parties

   ** See somebody's hometown next to his/her name when he/she comments on something or writes in a forum
   (for example, a comment could look like this:
   Audrée Florence (Montreal, Canada) 3 min. ago
   Thank you so much !)

   ** Be able to "search" for someone in particular

   So, basically, I would try to make this community one where people can become "friends" based on their interests and where people want to update their info every month + come more often to speak with friends & new people, not only to download. For more private people, they could make the info private so only their chosen "friends" could see what they're up to.

   I really love how people are nice and helpful here, maybe a way to connect users with each others directly could be a good thing?Maybe you could see more info about someone when you become their friends... I don't know, it's just an idea.

   God, I wrote a novel, I'm sorry... :S

2. Remove small/tagger-sized graphics from site

   Some designers in this community do not understand the need for larger elements for full size kits. Papers for a kit will be full size but elements are closer to tagger size than to full size. As ex designers, it was something we needed to learn when our elements didn't print well as they were too small to use properly. If not made larger, then they should be marked as tagger size elements.
   Having said that, we found this to be a very nice community as a whole, with some wonderful designers.

4. Back to Top Button

   All pages on Pixel Scrapper tend to be very long, especially the Home Page with latest activities being loaded almost infinitely, other examples: whenever a graphic that's uploaded has lots of comments, or when a blog post is long (and with lots of comments), and even the Forum section...I find myself scrolling forever up to go back to the top of said page, what do you guys think about a "Back to Top" Button? Cheers!

5. Ability to leave quality control feedback on individual graphics when you have downloaded the kit/bundle

   I searched for information about this... I apologize if this has already been requested and I didn't see it.

   I went to post (positive) quality control feedback for some items that I received in a bundle and had used in a layout, but was unable to leave that feedback. The system showed a note that said I needed to download the item before I could leave feedback. I had downloaded those items - just not individually. They came in a bundle. Thanks for considering this change.

8. Rephrase some negative-sounding messages around the site

   Since I registered I have felt there were several things that come across negative. And I'm sure you don't want them to. Example: when I go to sign in sometimes the word Register is over the place I should login and I can't get to it. So I am forced to go to "Join Now" and it has a place that says if you have an account click here to login. The. The first page is see is ACCESS DENIED. YOU DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THIS PAGE" A similar message occurs when you can only download certain files before you do the monthly fee. To me this is a put off & should be phrased better. I have many years of marketing experience so these kinds of things shout at me :).

   Also, in terms of the files themselves I know there is the option to get transparency but not on all files. I use photoshop, elements 15, Indesign and other photo editing software platforms. I have run into problems with some of the elements in particular. Like a ribbon. If it doesn't have transparency, I go the route of select all pixels then select pixels to remove the background. Most of the time that hasn't worked here so I used the quick selection option. I have spent a lot of time trying to clean those up. It just seems to me it is a simple thing for a true designer to do. And save the customer time and frustration. I use several blogs and/or websites and transparent PNG is being used throughout.

   Reaching your limit for the day. I would suggest saying: We are sorry but according to our guidelines you have reached your maximum of 5 kits today. Then maybe give the option to upgrade right beside it. Again, the way it pops up now makes the user feel like less of a patron.

   This is just a personal thing as I am not interested in the more clip art images of animals, cute little things, etc but I'm sure you have a large customer base that does use these. I was thinking if you have a testimonial area where you highlight some awesome work that your customers have sent to you. I think that would engage others to look around more. Or maybe a section of more professional pieces. Just something to think about. Or maybe not.

   I have found lots of papers I can use and I see several designers that have excellent work. When I start a project I am looking for crisp, clean and vibrant colors. These make for s much more eye catching piece.

10. Templates for 8.5 X 11 sized layouts

    I would love a workshop on how to create a photobook - the dimensions needed, not just for 12 X 12 books but for 8 X 10 or other sizes, for printing, lay flat book dimensions, any helpful tips and ideas on how to put together a book.

12. Forum: page numbers at top as well as bottom of page

    In the forums, there are buttons at the bottom of each page so that you can jump to a specific page. It would be very handy to also have these at the top of the page as well, so that if you wanted a specific page - not just the last page - you could jump to it immediately, without having to scroll to the bottom of a long page to get to the button.

14. Show more items per page on search/browse pages

    Give the option to put more results on a page when you search, only shows like about 20 I think, would be nice to double that if you wanted too.

15. Set PSD as default download option for templates

    It would be great if it would be possible to set the default option for templates to PSD and not JPG. Obviously templates are more often needed in PSD than in JPG and I often download the wrong item just because I forget to choose PSD.

16. When viewing templates, show papers/elements made using them

    When we view papers/elements, templates show up for some of them. It would be nice to see the reverse as well. While searching for templates, if papers or elements that were made using them would also appear, it would be perfect!

17. Better ability to browse kits/designs by subject/theme/category

    A "subject" search would be nice. What I mean is a generalized list of main topics that have bundles/kits/graphics associated with said topics. Sometime, knowing what to type in and search for is overwhelming. This could offer a starting block, or get imaginations rolling.

18. Ability to request a different file type for an existing graphic.

    Send a request to the designer for a different file type of an existing graphic (e.g. request a PSD or PNG with transparency for a graphic that only has a JPG file available for download).
